Gimcheon Sangmu’s Departing 13 Players: Full List and Analysis

Here is a list of the 13 players leaving Gimcheon Sangmu on October 6. They will return to their parent clubs after completing mandatory military service.

We have added their 2026 stats only.

Goalkeepers

  • Baek Jong-beom ➡️ FC Seoul (25 years old, 25 appearances, 6 clean sheets).
  • Moon Hyun-ho ➡️ Ulsan HD FC (23 years old, 1 appearance, 2 goals conceded).

The goalkeeping situations at Seoul and Ulsan are already healthy, so these goalkeepers will be returning as back ups. Baek Jong-beom appeared as first-choice for most of the season.

Defenders

  • Kim Tae-hwan ➡️ Jeju United (26 years old, 28 appearances, 0 goal contributions).
  • Park Cheol-woo ➡️ Suwon FC (28 years old, 25 appearances, 5 goal contributions).
  • Lee Jung-taek (Captain) ➡️ Daejeon Hana Citizen (28 years old, 26 appearances, 4 goal contributions).
  • Lee Chan-uk ➡️ Gyeongnam FC (23 years old, 8 appearances, 0 goal contributions).

Fullback Kim Tae-hwan will add experience to Jeju’s superb season in K League 1. The former Suwon defender has made 28 appearances this season. Captain Lee Jeong-taek has grown into a top-class defender at Sangmu, featuring 44 times.

Midfielders & Forwards

  • Park Se-jin ➡️ Daegu FC (22 years old, 23 appearances, 3 goal contributions).
  • Go Jae-hyun ➡️ Daegu FC (27 years old, 28 appearances, 10 goal contributions).
  • Lee Gun-hee ➡️ Gwangju FC (28 years old, 27 appearances, 7 goal contributions).
  • Kim Ju-chan ➡️ Suwon Samsung Bluewings (22 years old, 18 appearances, 3 goal contributions).
  • Lee Soo-bin ➡️ Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors (26 years old, 17 appearances, 0 goal contributions).
  • Jeon Byung-kwan ➡️ Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors (23 years old, 16 appearances, 0 goal contributions).
  • Kim Yi-seok ➡️ Gangwon FC (28 years old, 19 appearances, 3 goal contributions).

Four players are going to have a big impact in the run in, particularly for K League 2 side Daegu. Park Se-jin scored on his final home appearance. Ko Jae-hyeon notched seven goals and three assists this campaign.

Suwon Bluewings are desperate to get Kim Ju-chan back to add more depth to their wings. Like Park Se-jin, he scored in his final home match. Lastly, Gwangju will benefit greatly when Lee Keon-hee returns for the playoffs.
